Errol Pastrana
Owner and CEO/President
Of Spanish and German nationality, born in 1968, he lives in Alicante.
Studied electrical engineering in Frankfurt/Main, Errol grew up without parents and had to work for a living from the age of 13. At the age of 18 he founded his first business, a car tuning shop, and worked his way up to become a millionaire with different businesses, most recently UNFCCC projects in the development of residential areas with roof-integrated photovoltaic solutions.

Hans Christoph Knop
Project Manager
Hans Christoph Knop was born in Germany and grew up in South Africa.
He studied Industrial Engineering in South Africa. He has worked for more than 25 years as project manager in mega energy projects around the world including Canada, Russia and several African Countries. He joined the team in 2022.

Bernhard Harrer
Head of Science and CTO
Austrian national, born in 1964, lives in Graz, where he develops technological and social solutions for today’s social and environmental challenges in his own research institute, the Institut für Paradiesgestaltung (Institute for Paradise Design).
1983-1986 he studied architecture in Graz; due to the Chernobyl catastrophe changed studies to meteorology in Berlin, 1990-1994 basic and application research at the Free University of Berlin. 1994-2000 development of the first knowledge management system for holistic medicine and alternative technologies, 1997-2010 own business Harrer Wissenstransfer (Harrer Knowledge Transfer), 2012 Master of Science MSc in health sciences.
He has received several awards for his innovative concepts: Berliner Gesundheitspreis 1995 from the Berlin Medical Chamber and the AOK Bundesverband (public health insurance), Start-up Award Multimedia 2000 by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, VCÖ Mobility Award 2017 in the category of technological and social innovations.
Bernhard heads SWC‘s Research and Development Department.
All leading SWC team members have more than 17 years of experience in the energy world as leaders in innovation, integration and research of alternative energies, especially in the sector of building-integrated solar technologies.
